From Francha re. Northern Door calling:
Things are looking better out there in the campaign world, aren’t they? And that’s exactly the reason it’s so important that we do the extra work it’ll take to make sure that Hillary and our down-ballot candidates win on Nov. 8.
So, I’m appealing to you again to volunteer a couple of hours – one calling shift (or more) at our Northern Door calling sites…. Melissa and Dennis Koepsels’ ( 10536 Stock Lane – behind Julie’s Upscale Resale, south of Sister Bay )
or Judy and Mike Brodds’ ( 2182 Seaquist Rd. Sister Bay). Neither house is handicapped accessible.
We’ll be calling at Koepsels’ from 4:00–6:00 and from 6:00–8:00 each evening from Nov. 1st.–4th. and again on Nov. 7th.. We’ll be calling at both houses on Saturday, Nov 5th., 12:00–2:00, 2:00–4:00, 4:00–6:00 and 6:00–8:00 AND
Sunday, Nov. 6th., 12:00–2:00, 2:00–3:30 and 6:00–8:00 (actually probably a 6:30 start or as soon after that as the game is over).
These are easy calls to make. We’ll be reminding folks to vote on Tuesday and making sure they know their polling place, take their ID along and offer rides if needed. It’s Allin Walker’s plan that we in Northern Door will be making the Door County contact calls, so we’ll be talking as neighbors. You’ll be able to use your cellphone or computer to make these calls. The state party is not providing extra phones.
This is a way we can stay right here in Northern Door and take an active part in helping get the representation we need and want.
Please phone me atto let me know when you’ll be able to join us for calling.
